So today's topic is all about people pleasing. I personally have a ton of experience with this as I've had people pleasing tendencies since I was a kid. i think, just like anything, people pleasing has it's pros and cons. It can go from an innocent display of love or care to a toxic obligation to appease that ends up violating your boundaries and even your self - respect. everything in between that I think is up for debate on whether it's necessarily good or bad. People pleasing I think can come from many personal needs and desires, such as the desire to fit into a group of people or the need to feel wanted and appreciated. I think all of us have some people pleasing in us. Especially when were younger and more malleable. but as we grow up I think it's important to identify what the cons can be if things aren't balanced well. So I wanted to talk about my experience with people pleasing behavior with the hopes of not only venting for myself but maybe helping you, the listener get a better understanding of your own people pleasing tendencies and what to do about it. So without further ado, let's dive in to today's episode. Â Â
